This project looked to resolve issues within the built environment that had resulted in poor public realm conditions, as well as the regeneration of underused buildings and inbetween land. The proposals included the retrofit of existing properties to enhance their external appearance, repair defects and improve internal comfort. The addition of key new homes throughout the estate sought to enhance the quality the public realm, increase surveillance and improve the pedestrian and vehicular pathways.

We worked closely with the client team to develop masterplan ideas and focused technical solutions regarding retrofit that could be implemented without occupier displacement.
