Danni and Ellis wanted to extend the kitchen / dining area of this Grade 2 Listed cottage, as the space has become too tight for their family and they wanted to create a more comfortable principal bedroom at first floor. The design of the extension responds directly to the site context to minimise overshadowing and overbearing on the neighbouring cottages. The new ambition was to offer a 21st century piece of architecture to the historic context on the village, that is both sympathetic and contemporary. The project is currently in construction and expected to complete December 2022.
