This beautiful little barn is nestled in the heart of West Runton’s Conservation Area. Our client sought to convert the redundant building into an uplifting home for holiday use. As a lover of books and with children of her own, our client was keen to foster a level of playfulness in the spaces. The result mixes vaulted ceilings and double height spaces, with glazed internal screens, a book wall, and library ladder to access a loft snug.

The building is now enjoyed by holidaymakers, some of whom have commented that it is a ‘Beautifully decorated converted barn in a very private location. Great space inside and really well equipped (loads of things for kids). One of my favourite spaces was the mezzanine…’ and that ‘Lots has been carefully thought out like phone charging sockets in many places and a fantastic space on the mezzanine level which our teenage daughters loved to chill out in.’
