Pudding Norton

Residential / New Build

The site required redevelopment following severe fire damage which resulted in four flats and the dilapidated garages being demolished to create 9 new affordable homes. The design approach was to understand how the site could be used more effectively for housing whilst also providing a communal space that avoided being an undefined and unused external space as found elsewhere on the estate. Another key driver of the design was to develop a scheme with a strong sense of place with important consideration given to the design of each dwelling and how they interact with each other and external spaces.
