Conversion / Refurbishment

In spring 2020 we began working on an idea to offer a new and unique service to our clients – convenient access to our team via a Mobile Design Office. The Ensemble team is already remotely based – and this was the case well before any COVID requirements made that a useful attribute anyway! – and many of our projects are based in rural areas, which makes ‘popping to site’ quite time intensive.

Our Mobile Design Office overcomes this by giving us a well-equipped and spacious working environment that can be conveniently relocated around the country. At important project milestones, we can displace some our team members into the project site itself, comfortable in the knowledge that they will be well supplied with computers, meeting space, tea-making, beer fridge and even a loo!

We have been working with Jonathan and the team at Vintage Travel Trailers for six months as they converted a beautiful (but tired!) 1966 Airstream Safari travel trailer into our mobile workspace.

This project was realised with part funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development, through the LEADER programme and included upgrades to our website and specialist software.
